Ian is President of Northern Lights Direct Response.
With his brother, Sandy, he co-founded Northern Lights 25 years ago and built one of the top DR agencies in North America specializing in DR campaigns that deliver a positive ROI and build brand. A sought-after speaker and industry expert, Ian has written and spoken extensively on the subject of brand DR for leading-industry publications and conferences.

Luc Bourgon, COO & Partner
A 15-year veteran of Northern Lights, Luc is the diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving engine, and the anchor that provides stability and calm to the agency’s operations and finances.

Anna Fowles, Director, Creative & Production Services
With 20 years of experience producing DR campaigns, Anna is a talented and production-savvy leader with an unparalleled ability to bring a campaign in on budget and on time. Reporting to and working closely with President, Ian French, Vince manages the creative and design process for Northern Lights’ DR campaigns for both the TV and online channels.
He is an experienced and talented creative director who understands client needs and objectives, and skillfully translates them into compelling and results-driven DR campaigns. A 25-year veteran of the advertising industry, Vince brings a creative flair and energy unmatched by his peers.
Marlene Day, Controller
After nearly 15 years with Northern Lights, Marlene is one of the longest-serving team members of the agency. In addition to managing the agency’s accounting department, she is heavily involved in the creation of corporate financial policies and procedures, and is responsible for financial reporting within and outside of Northern Lights.
With her astuteness and precision, Marlene keeps the agency’s accounting operations robust and efficient.
