“Plan Canada Launches New Long-Form DRTV Campaign”

TORONTO: Plan Canada (founded in 1937 as Foster Parents Plan) has launched a new long-form direct response television (DRTV) campaign. Northern Lights Direct Response, Plan Canada’s direct response AOR, created the campaign and will also handle the media buy.

Hosted by journalist and seven-year Plan sponsor, Lisa LaFlamme, the 30-minute DRTV commercial, A Plan for the Children, is a reminder that children and families in need don’t need a band-aid solution – they need a Plan.

The DRTV commercial highlights the profound and successful changes Plan has made in rural Peru, where their focus on community development has transformed many villages, allowing children to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.

“This campaign showcases real-world examples of the positive impact Plan sponsorship has had in developing countries. We take viewers on a journey that shows them the impact their support has on children’s lives,” says Becky Crampton, Director of Marketing for Plan Canada.

The DRTV campaign goes to air next week.
